Ein Konflikt hat sich angebahnt, spitzt sich zu und der Ton wird rau. Es muss \u201eschnell\u201c noch eine zus\u00e4tzliche Ana\u00adlyse her oder eine Funktionalit\u00e4t nachgebessert werden, doch die Zeit wird knapp. Hoch konzentriert seid ihr um eine L\u00f6\u00ads\u00adung bem\u00fcht, macht ein paar Extrastunden. Und meist bekommt ihr es wieder hin &#8211; allein oder im Team &#8211; alle ziehen an einem Strang! Bis morgen das n\u00e4chste \u201ebrennende&#8220; Thema um die Ecke kommt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Die &#8222;Hochleistungsfalle&#8220;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">In fact, studies have shown that as individuals we spend about 2 - 2.5 hours of our work day on work dramas, things that stress us out. This can be problematic. It can just as easily be an important presentation we are preparing for or a discussion in which our points are not being heard. All these situations trigger the stress hormone cortisol in our body - our focus hormone! It focuses all our attention on the issue that is so important to us and blocks out everything else in the mean time. We use our mental torch to perfectly illuminate this one topic, while the peripheral areas disappear into darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\"><br>All traffic lights regarding brain cells with problem-solving skills or relevant content are switched to green. All side roads are temporarily closed.<br>Perfect - for peak performance in the moment and professional \"survival\". Very bad, however, for our flexibility, creativity and ability to learn, and specifically for the possibility of accessing completely new opportunities. Many areas of our brain cannot participate in new ideas for a solution. Under stress, we actually like to fall back on what has already helped us in a similar situation. Then we also know immediately how to approach it in detail. Great! Our brain has stored this as one of our success patterns, ready for this very moment! This way, we can solve repetitive or similar challenges more quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">But be careful: old patterns only take us to where we have already been. They are not suitable for tackling new, unknown challenges. More of the same does not help here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#23537b\">The access to new ideas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">No time for experiments? Digitalised work tools, interdisciplinary networking and professional complexity make the solution process demanding. And at the same time, a completely new solution space opens up. In this space, we need both our professional competence and our experience, as well as access to our creative potential! And we need the willingness to engage with new solutions, even though a lot depends on it for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">But how do we do that? How do we recognise whether we're currently stuck in the \"high performance trap\" or have access to our full potential? Are we aware for which of our tasks we need which state? What methods help us to consciously shift from one state to the other?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Let's take a look at this one by one.<br>If we're not aware that we are working in a very focused way at the moment and thus can only be flexible and innovative to a limited extent we're stuck in the \"high performance trap\". So let's be more conscious about our practised work mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"488\" height=\"520\" src=\"https:\/\/coaching-your-change.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Kathrin-Schrepfer-nachdenklich-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-249679\" srcset=\"https:\/\/coaching-your-change.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Kathrin-Schrepfer-nachdenklich-1.png 488w, https:\/\/coaching-your-change.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Kathrin-Schrepfer-nachdenklich-1-480x511.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 488px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#23537b\">1. Self-diagnosis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">We need an honest self-diagnosis of our current stress level! As soon as you tick one of these boxes, you are stressed, have already had your cortisol release and are therefore in focus mode. You no longer have all your creative abilities at your disposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-3eeca52d\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list\">\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-b22b4b7f\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item\"><i class=\"far fa-circle wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-icon-custom\"><\/i><p class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-content-custom\">I am tense and trying to concentrate.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-411a8737\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item\"><i class=\"far fa-circle wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-icon-custom\"><\/i><p class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-content-custom\">I hurry, walk faster, my answers to others are rather terse.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-5d138d0b\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item\"><i class=\"far fa-circle wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-icon-custom\"><\/i><p class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-content-custom\">I have a headache, possibly heartburn, my neck is tense.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-78efb754\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item\"><i class=\"far fa-circle wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-icon-custom\"><\/i><p class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-content-custom\">I am irritable.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-82319bef\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item\"><i class=\"far fa-circle wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-icon-custom\"><\/i><p class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-item-content-custom\">I have had more coffee (and\/or cigarettes) today than I normally do at this time.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#23537b\"><em>(this list is only a suggestion for reflection and does not claim to be complete \ud83d\ude09) <\/em>\ud83d\ude09<em>)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list-a5a612da\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-icon-list\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#23537b\">2. Active relaxation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Fact is: Innovative ideas and new approaches can only be achieved in a relaxed state - without cortisol release. Humans need about 20 minutes to move from a state of arousal to relaxation. So we need a 20-minute time window and an activity that releases the tension in order to regain full access to our resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">In my experience, the following activities are particularly suitable:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size wp-block-list\" style=\"color:#23537b\">\n<li>A walk in the fresh air, preferably a little brisker - movement releases what is being held in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Change of environment &amp; stimulation of the senses: Change your location and become particularly aware of what is happening around you. Pay attention to all the little things, colours, shapes, sounds, people and their stories. Let yourself be inspired!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Activate positive energies, for example with a fragrant cup of tea or cocoa, some good music, someone who makes you laugh. What is good for you?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Not suitable, on the other hand, are more coffee, a cigarette break or a video game on your mobile phone, because these things indirectly pay into the stressors and cost us even more energy. Here we want to consciously and lastingly reduce stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/coaching-your-change.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/entspannung.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-249677\" title=\"Entspannung\" srcset=\"https:\/\/coaching-your-change.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/entspannung.png 800w, https:\/\/coaching-your-change.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/entspannung-480x338.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 800px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#23537b\">3. Your own strategy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Imagine you are in a cool, creatively curious state right now. What has brought you here? What did you do directly before that this state has now come about? What is your best \"20-minute anti-stress strategy\"?<br>Just try one or the other in the coming days and observe what gets you back in touch with your creativity the quickest!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">When we have successfully lowered our cortisol level after 20 minutes, we can continue with brainstorming on the important topics. You will see that you will think of new aspects and finally reach your goal faster and more relaxed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">You may also find that you need the stimulation in the opposite direction. Do you do many tasks only at the last moment? Do you wait until someone from outside increases the pressure? Then you're looking for the appropriate cortisol release that brings you into focused mode so that you can complete the tasks as efficiently and quickly as possible. But be careful: this works for standard tasks. This strategy is not suitable for new challenges and innovative solutions!<br>\ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#23537b\">4. Your strategy as a leader<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">If you have leadership responsibility, you can also trigger or control this process in your teams. Because when the employees of an organisation are under a lot of stress, every \"distraction\" is bothersome, every workshop too much. The invitation to join in and co-create remains unheard. We encounter rejection.<br>It is incredibly difficult to bring about change from such a situation. Often, the only way left is a \"facts-driven change\", i.e. creating the change process through facts. I can already tell you at this point that that type of change is noisy, friction-intensive and expensive! And it takes a comparatively long time until acceptance and routines are newly established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">A good change process needs a minimum of openness for the new approach, a clear derivation of the need for change, a vision that is attractive to everyone and the possibility to get involved in the process. Das kann eine Problemstellung sein. Genauso gut kann es eine wichtige Pr\u00e4sentation sein, auf die wir uns gerade vorbereiten oder eine inhaltliche Auseinandersetzung, bei der unsere Punkte nicht geh\u00f6rt werden. All diese Situationen rufen in unserem K\u00f6rper das Stresshormon Cortisol auf den Plan - unser Fokus-Hormon! Es lenkt all unsere Aufmerksamkeit auf das f\u00fcr uns so wichtige Thema und blendet alles andere so lang aus. Wir nutzen unsere geistige Taschenlampe, um dieses eine Thema optimal auszuleuchten, w\u00e4hrend die Randbereiche im Dunkeln verschwinden.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"#23537b\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\"><br>Alle Ampel zu den Hirnzellen mit Probleml\u00f6sekompetenz oder relevanten Inhalten werden auf Gr\u00fcn geschaltet. Alle Neben\u00adstra\u00dfen werden vor\u00fcbergehend gesperrt.<br>Perfekt - f\u00fcr die H\u00f6chstleistung im Moment und das berufliche \u201e\u00dcberleben\u201c. Ganz schlecht aber f\u00fcr unsere Flexibilit\u00e4t, Krea\u00adtivit\u00e4t und Lernf\u00e4higkeit und insbesondere den Zugang zu v\u00f6llig neuen M\u00f6glichkeiten. Viele Bereiche unseres Gehirns k\u00f6n\u00adnen sich so nicht an neuen Ideen f\u00fcr eine L\u00f6sung beteiligen. Unter Stress greifen wir tats\u00e4chlich gern auf das zur\u00fcck, was uns bei einer \u00e4hnlichen Situation schon geholfen hat. Da wissen wir auch sofort, wie wir das im einzelnen angehen k\u00f6nnen. Sehr gut! Unser Gehirn hat das als eines unserer Erfolgsmuster abgespeichert und genau f\u00fcr diesen Moment bereit gelegt! Sich wiederholende oder \u00e4hnelnde Herausforderungen k\u00f6nnen wir so schneller l\u00f6sen.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"#23537b\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Doch Vorsicht: alte Muster bringen uns nur dahin, wo wir schon waren. Sie sind nicht dazu geeignet, neue, unbekannte He\u00adraus\u00adforderungen anzugehen. Mehr vom Gleichen hilft hier nicht.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:heading {\"style\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"#23537b\"}}} -->\n<h2 class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Der Zugang zu neuen Ideen<\/h2>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"#23537b\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Keine Zeit f\u00fcr Experimente? Digitalisierte Arbeitsmittel, interdisziplin\u00e4re Vernetzung und fachliche Komplexit\u00e4t machen den L\u00f6sungsprozess anspruchsvoll. Und zugleich \u00f6ffnet sich ein v\u00f6llig neuer L\u00f6sungsraum. In diesem Raum brauchen wir sowohl unsere fachliche Kompetenz und unsere Erfahrungen, als auch Zugang zu unserem Kreativzentrum! Und wir brauchen die Bereitschaft, uns auf neue L\u00f6sungen einzulassen, obwohl f\u00fcr uns einiges davon abh\u00e4ngt.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"#23537b\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Aber wie machen wir das? Wie erkennen wir, ob ich gerade in der \u201eHochleistungsfalle\u201c feststecken oder Zugang zu unserem vollen Potenzial haben? Sind wir uns bewusst, f\u00fcr welche unserer Aufgaben wir welchen Zustand ben\u00f6tigen? Aktive Entspannung<\/h3>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"#23537b\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Fakt ist: Innovative Ideen und neue Ans\u00e4tze sind nur in einem entspannten Zustand - ohne Cortisolaussch\u00fcttung - er\u00adreich\u00adbar. Der Mensch braucht ca. 20 Minuten, um vom Erregungszustand in die Entspannung zu kommen. Wir brauchen also ein 20 Minuten-Zeitfenster und eine Aktivit\u00e4t, die die Anspannung l\u00f6st, um wieder vollen Zugang zu unseren Ressourcen zu er\u00adhalten.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"#23537b\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Meiner Erfahrung nach eignen sich folgende Aktivit\u00e4ten dazu besonders gut:<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:list {\"style\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"#23537b\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} -->\n<ul class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\"><!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li>einen Spaziergang an der frischen Luft, gern etwas flotter - Bewegung l\u00f6st, was festgehalten wird<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item -->\n\n<!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li>Umgebungswechsel &amp; Stimulation der Sinne: Wechsle Deinen Standort und nimm dabei bewusst war, was um Dich herum geschieht. Achte auf alle Kleinigkeiten, Farben, Formen, Ger\u00e4usche, Menschen und ihre Geschichten. Lass Dich inspirieren!<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item -->\n\n<!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li>Aktiviere positive Energien, zum Beispiel mit einer duftenden Tasse Tee oder Kakao, etwas guter Musik, jemandem, der Dich zum Lachen bringt. Was tut Dir gut?<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"#23537b\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Nicht geeignet sind dagegen, mehr Kaffee, eine Zigarettenpause oder ein Videospiel auf dem Handy, denn diese Dinge zahlen indirekt auf die Stressoren ein und kosten uns noch mehr Energie. Was hat Dich dahin gebracht? Was hast Du direkt vorher gemacht, dass dieser Zustand jetzt so eingetreten ist? Was ist denn Deine beste \u201e20 Minuten Anti-Stress-Strategie\u201c?<br>Probiere einfach in den kommenden Tagen mal das eine oder andere und beobachte, was Dich am schnellsten wieder mit Deiner Kreativit\u00e4t in Kontakt bringt!<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"#23537b\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Wenn wir unseren Cortisolspiegel nach 20 Minuten erfolgreich gesenkt haben, kann es mit einem Brainstorming zu den so wichtigen Themen weiter gehen. Du wirst sehen, Dir fallen neue Aspekte ein und schlussendlich bist Du schneller und ent\u00adspann\u00adter am Ziel.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"style\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"#23537b\"}},\"fontSize\":\"medium\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#23537b\">Vielleicht ertappst Du Dich auch dabei, dass Du die Stimulation eigentlich genau anders herum brauchst. Erledigst Du viele Aufgaben erst im letzten Moment? Wartest Du, bis jemand von au\u00dfen den Druck erh\u00f6ht? Dann suchst Du nach der ent\u00ad\u00adspre\u00adch\u00aden\u00ad\u00adden Cortisolaussch\u00fcttung, die Dich in den fokussierten Modus bringt, damit Du die Aufgaben maximal effizient und schnell erledigst. Aber Vorsicht: Dies gelingt bei Standardaufgaben. F\u00fcr neue Herausforderungen und innovative L\u00f6sungen ist diese Strategie nicht geeignet!<br>\ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3,\"style\":{\"color\":{\"text\":\"#23537b\"}}} -->\n<h3 class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#23537b\">4. Denn wenn die Mitarbeitenden einer Organisation unter starker Anspannung stehen, ist jede \u201eAb\u00adlen\u00adkung\u201c st\u00f6rend, jeder Workshop zu viel.
